Wolf appears in a number of Nuxalk myths. It was also used as a crest and has been graphically portrayed in ceremonial dances and other rituals.
Wolf appears in the Nuxalk story, “The Man Who Married Wolf” as recorded by T.F. McIlwraith in his ethnographical study, The Bella Coola Indians.
